Staffordshire County Council has identified and worked with 1,316 families in the BRFC programme over a three year period; of which 248 (18.2%) families lived in Cannock.

Funding brought into Cannock from the ‘Payment by Results’ (PbR) fund has supported the increase in capacity in the FIP team to work with BRFC families and enabled key workers to use small amounts of funding to provide direct support to families.

This income has been generated by Staffordshire County Council and partner agencies working together to support identified families.

Local Support Teams, Support Staffordshire, Groundworks, Police, ASB Teams, Specialist Safeguarding Units, Bromford Housing and Learning Disability Team are examples of services/agencies who have supported families in Phase 1 of the programme.

The Expanded BRFC Programme provides Cannock with a further opportunity to improve outcomes for families in Cannock who live with complex and longstanding difficulties.

Multi agency working is essential in achieving improved outcomes for families.
